Mr. Nikolaos Bompetsis obtained his bachelor degree from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications. Currently, he is pursuing two M.Sc degrees in the Communication Systems and Networks programme, as well as the Bioinformatics programme. He is a member of SCAN group since May 2013. During his research activities in the group, he has participated in two FP7 projects, i.e., Univerself and LiveCity. Besides that, he is in charge of supporting two undergraduate courses, i.e., “Software Development in Networks and Telecommunications” and “Network Management”. His main fields of interest are software development (Java, C++, Python, etc.), Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and LTE networks.
